Maybe not so much a movie, but hey. I made a thing. If you can't tell, I took inspiration from the MCM budget drift car reveal. Took all of the establishing shots at 1am in my 30 degree garage with my phone (Nokia Lumia 925) so the quality is whatever.

Thanks! I'm constantly amused by how polarizing this car is. Either you "get it" or you think it's a waste of money or you think it's "creepy". I have found that jalops and Average Joe are usually the first camp, wannabe car guys are the second camp, and girls the third. Quite amusing, but Murdersofa ain't care.

Sounds like my experience with the smart fortwo!! Jalops and dates seem to get it (at least to a certain extent), wannabes (YouTube commenters, Burners, and Reddit) think it's a waste of money crap box death trap, and the rest of the population are so put off by it that they're aggressive to it.

Like I've been run off the road maybe 3 or so times since I've gotten it, it got paintballed twice in two weeks, and it's been shot. lol

Although the funny part is that the wannabe gangsters (and even Chicago's South Side "gangsters") seem to love it. It's usually the privileged kids and the fake rednecks who do all the hating.

Rockfords are so easy in a car with that big of a wheelbase and the engine/transmission completely in front of the front wheels :P

Basically for the telemetry I just used a Bluetooth OBD2 adaptor from Amazon (one of the ELM ones) along with Torque, a $5 app from the app store.

I did, but it turned out to be unnecessary. Torque has pretty much everything you'll ever need built in for a dedicated system like this.

Unscrew the key fob, hook up a clock generator to the alarm button thus toggling it periodically, and drive around until a Buick starts freaking out.
